Jireh
We know God has many names — Yahweh, Immanuel, Adonai, Jesus, Good Shepherd, Prince of Peace, Bread of Life, etc. One name that has been brought to light in contemporary worship music within the last 5 years is “Jehovah Jireh,” which means “The LORD will provide.” The Lord’s provision is what we will be focusing on this month. “How kind the LORD is! How good He is! So merciful, this God of ours!” (Psalm 116:5 NLT) And just as He provides us with all that we need (Philippians 4:19), so we should give Him all thankfulness and praise (Psalm 96:8). Join us Friday, November 21st at 6:30pm, to remember God’s provision for us in all things, as we sing and read Scripture. See you soon! To God be the glory!
