Altar team is schedule-based to alternate who sets up communion on Sundays. They also pay close attention to the colors of the church year calendar, changing out the altar cloths and the banners around the sanctuary to match. Flowers are changed out seasonally. During special occasions, such as Advent and Good Friday, the altar team will take part in placing and removing items from the altar.
